Fair Trade Photo Shoots and
World Fair Trade Day 2016 in Dubai

I returned to Dubai 13th May with a heavy heart after fulfilling duties for my mothers funeral.

World Fair Trade Day would be celebrated around the world and I wanted Dubai and the United Arab Emirates to be represented.

I decided to ask my friends for their assistance and Lucy Bruce, Fikra, Saima, Fred and Sophia happily obliged.

Fikra very kindly introduced me to a lady called Anita who said she would be delighted to conduct a photo shoot with her two twins at my apartment.

Saima baked a beautiful World Fair Trade Cake and Fred took photographs of the events.

Lucy Bruce Director of Education at the Home Grown Children's Eco Nursery, Ailsa and Lisa were very supportive. Staff and parents graciously allowed me to conduct two photo shoots one for World Fair Trade Day and one with children and babies to launch my fairtrade children's organic range.

I am extremely grateful to Lucy, Ailsa, all the Mums who waited patiently for their photo shoots and all the stars of the show the little fair trade ambassadors. Many thanks to everyone who supported fair trade farmers Agrocel, SEKEM, The Little Green Radicals, Best Years, Pebble Toys and Under The Nile.

I have attached Behind The Scenes at The Home Grown Children's Eco Nursery of Marcus and Mum for you to all view at your leisure.

I hope to record another video blog next month until then
''BE AN AGENT FOR CHANGE'' and keep supporting fairtrade producers and farmers wherever you live.

Warmest regards

Sabeena

North West Regional Fair Trade Conference, Salford University, Manchester, UK - November 2017

During my visit to my home city of Manchester I attended the North West Regional Fair Trade Conference.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable intensive day and I was exhausted by its end and had to rest my poor shoulder.

Many thanks to Chrisi, Adam and the Fairtrade Foundation team for organising this event.
