I returned to Dubai 13th May with a heavy heart after fulfilling duties for my mothers funeral.
World Fair Trade Day would be celebrated around the world and I wanted Dubai and the United Arab Emirates to be represented.
I decided to ask my friends for their assistance and Lucy Bruce, Fikra, Saima, Fred and Sophia happily obliged.
Here is a link to behind the scenes with Adam, Sophie and Mum Anita.
Saima baked a beautiful World Fair Trade Cake and Fred took photographs of the events.
Lucy Bruce Director of Education at the Home Grown Children's Eco Nursery, Ailsa and Lisa were very supportive. Staff and parents graciously allowed me to conduct two photo shoots one for World Fair Trade Day and one with children and babies to launch my fairtrade children's organic range.
I am extremely grateful to Lucy, Ailsa, all the Mums who waited patiently for their photo shoots and all the stars of the show the little fair trade ambassadors. Many thanks to everyone who supported fair trade farmers Agrocel, SEKEM, The Little Green Radicals, Best Years, Pebble Toys and Under The Nile.
I have attached Behind The Scenes at The Home Grown Children's Eco Nursery of Marcus and Mum for you to all view at your leisure.
Warmest regards
Sabeena
This month I supported fairtrade fortnight 2024 and celebrated Fairtrade's 30th Anniversary.
This month my right shoulder is still very painful and I have struggled to record this vlog and type this blog.
I finally managed to record videos for my Six Items Challenge 2024 and upload them to my YouTube Channel.
