Attended the Salam Sisters Network Dubai (SSND) monthly meeting.
Taught fair trade to Year 5 at the Manor Park Primary School, Dubai.
Attended the ZB Foundation lunch with founders Dani Wilson and Saima Khan and presented Fair trade to over 100+ ladies.
Participated in Live Create Meditate event with Mariam Yasin and Amruta Kshemkalyani.
This September I was fortunate to Skype with Paksy Plackis-Cheung a multi talented lady who founded Impact Mania after years as working as an IT specialist.
Paksy spends her time working on many initiatives including social enterprise projects and empowers women entrepreneurs by writing about them and promoting them on her website Impact Mania.
She is currently working with the United Nations and working to promote entrepreneurs in Pakistan.
I am very grateful to Dr Sara Calvo Martinez for her wonderful e-introduction to Paksy and Impact Mania.
Thank you Paksy for supporting fair trade producers and the fair trade movement of the United Arab Emirates.

I attended the Salam Sisters Network Dubai (SSND) monthly meeting with its founder Sofia Choudhary and sister Fousia.
The SSND was established for all new Muslim sisters wanting information about Dubai.
It was interesting to learn of their core objectives and future plans.
I am very grateful to Saima and Sofia for supporting my work and purchasing a fair trade wall hanging for her son on World Fair Trade Day 2016.
I was invited to teach fair trade to Year 5 at the Manor Primary School, Dubai.

The 4 hour session organised at the Eco Yoga Sanctuary, Jumeriah Village Mall, Dubai
During the session we learnt about sustainable living.
Sewed a vegetable bag from old clothes.
Had a mind-body connection and mental detox.
