Despite having the mother of all colds I trundled my way to Cultureplex, Manchester on a cold winter evening to support a wonderful social enterprise called Heart & Parcel.
This event had been organised by Clare and Karolina Directors and Founders and of Heart and Parcel to explain the process of publishing their inspirational cook book highlighting recipes cooked by English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to improve their English skills.

Every individual involved in the process gave an insight into how they supported the project and gave pointers about how one could publish their very own cook book.
As am amateur photographer I was particularly interested in how to take mouth watering photographs and videos.

I had a fabulous night meeting the Creative Team at Heart & Parcel and wish them every success for the future.
Heart & Parcel was conceived in 2015 by Directors, Founders and ESOL practitioners Clare Courtney and Karolina Koścień.
Their objective and mission has been to assist ESOL learners to improve their English by promoting their cuisine and culture through their pioneering cooking lessons/workshops and events throughout Manchester and the North West of England.
The Heart & Parcel Cook Book highlights 17 ESOL learners and their unique recipes representing their culture, traditions, language and their diverse cooking skills.
The book is available in many bookshops/stockists in Manchester and the United Kingdom.
I would encourage all my friends and family to support the Heart & Parcel team and the wonderful ESOL chefs.
